Founded by James Stretton, a sixth-generation sheep farmer from Kent and Thomas Neeld, a leading data scientist from the financial services industry, the FlockFinder team have been able to deliver a platform that is tailored to meet the needs of farmers.
Recognizing the farming industry's reputation for being resistant to change, the FlockFinder team spent six months engaging with sheep farmers throughout the UK. Their goal was to understand the practical, day-to-day challenges faced by farmers and develop technology that could truly make a difference. What they found was a resounding demand for an intuitive, farmer-friendly platform that would streamline record-keeping, enable easy data access, and ensure compliance with regulations. So that is exactly what they built!
