Fill in an LIS-1 movement form

1. Start a movement

Open Movements and tap New movement (on a phone, the round + button).

2. Choose the animals

Search your FlockFinder records and select the animals. If the animals are not in your records, choose Add a batch instead. A batch is counted rather than listed on the LIS-1, so no individual EIDs are added. Tap Next.

3. Choose the destination

Choose a recent destination, or search for or add a place. Check the departure address and CPH shown. If the holding has no CPH, add it first because the LIS-1 needs it. Tap Next.

4. Transport and dates

Choose who is transporting the animals: Me, Haulier or Receiver. For a haulier, enter the Haulier name. Enter the Vehicle registration if you have it. A haulier's Transporter authorisation number is needed when the journey is over 65 km. Set the Departure date. Open Times and journey length to add loading and departure times and the expected length of the journey. Tap Next.

5. Food chain and exemptions

Say whether the animals are going for slaughter. If they are, choose whether the food chain information (FCI) statements are satisfied for all animals. FlockFinder checks the medicine book and shows whether withdrawal periods are met. Open Exemptions for any that apply. Tap Next.

6. Check and save

1. Review the summary. On a phone it appears under Check before you save. On a computer it sits beside the form.

2. Tap Save movement.

3. Tap View the LIS-1 to open the form.

4. For a movement off your holding, FlockFinder also emails the LIS-1 to you as a PDF.

After you save, the movement is recorded and you can choose View movement or Record another movement. If you leave before saving, FlockFinder keeps your draft and offers it back when you return.
