How to record a birth
How to register the birth of an animal in the app.
1. Select mother
You can select "Register a birth" from the home page, or select the mother of the new birth/births you would like to add. If selecting from the home page, you can skip to 4.
2. Add offspring button
Click the add offspring button, circled in the image.
3. Click on Register Birth
After clicking the 'Add offspring' button you will be presented with an action sheet. Select register birth.
4. Add offspring
Enter the count and details of the offspring you would like to add.
5. Individual offspring details
Add the details for each individual offspring. When you are happy with the records click save to add the animals and birth records to your account. It is optional to add a birth weight and animal number for the new offspring.
Once saved, the offspring will be added as animal records in the app and lineage between the child and parent will be registered.
